Situated in the heart of East Lothian's famous Golf courses, Craigielaw offers world class Golfing, free Wi-Fi, an excellent restaurant and a prime location 30 minutes from Edinburgh. The Lodge is a fantastic base to enjoy Craigielaw Golf Club's wonderful facilities, as well as exploring the surrounding county and all of Edinburgh's attractions. With 25 well appointed rooms, 13 enjoy views across the course to the River Forth, whilst 12 rooms enjoy secluded views across a decorative courtyard. The restaurant area is bright and spacious, allowing diners the freedom to enjoy the good company of their group and the excellent food served by the team of chefs. Many ingredients are sourced from local producers and the accompanying wine list boasts a good range of quality bottles. Inspired by the great links courses of Britain, the Golf course opened in 2001 and has hosted many national events, including the 2006 Scottish Amateur Strokeplay Championship and was a qualifying course for the 2007 British Seniors Open.Please note that Twins are on request and subject to availability.

Directions

Travelling south from Edinburgh:Head south on the A1 city by pass follow signs for Berwick up on Tweed. Look out for the Bankton Junction south of Musselburgh branching left off the A1. Then at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A198 (signposted North Berwick). At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit on to the A198 heading for North Berwick. After entering Longniddry on the A198 bear left following signs for Aberlady and Gullane on the A198. At the T-Junction turn right (still on the A198). And from this junction the Craigielaw entrance lies less than 2 miles on the left hand side (12 a mile before Aberlady village).Travelling north from Newcastle:Heading north on the A1 look for the Abbotsview Junction (signposted for Haddington) take the exit. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit signposted Aberlady A6137. At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit on to the A6137 (signposted Aberlady). At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit, again signposted Aberlady. And less than 1 mile you come to a 90 degree right hand bend turn left here heading into the village of Aberlady. Follow the road until you get to a junction and the main street turn left here and drive out of the village. Craigielaw is mile out of the village the entrance being the 3rd road on your right.
